This app, Compresly, is developed and published by Darya Klinava (“I”, “me”, or “my”). This page is intended to inform users about my policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information for those who choose to use the Service.

By using Compresly, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information I Collect

I designed Compresly to minimize the collection of personal data.

• No accounts or registration — I do not ask for your name, email, or other identifying information.
• Files — When you use Compresly to compress or extract audio, your files are processed locally on your device. I do not collect, upload, or store your media files on any server.
• Usage Data & Analytics — I use third-party services to collect aggregated, non-identifiable information about app usage, performance, and subscriptions. This may include:
  • Device type and operating system
  • Country or region (based on IP or device settings)
  • In-app events (e.g., which features are used, subscription status)
  • Crash reports and performance metrics

2. Third-Party Services

I rely on trusted third-party providers to operate and improve Compresly:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — analytics, crash reporting
• Apple App Store Analytics — usage and performance metrics
• Amplitude — product analytics
• Adapty — subscription and paywall management

These providers may process limited usage data as described above. They do not have access to your media files.

3. Payments

All purchases and subscriptions are processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

• I do not collect or store payment information such as credit card numbers.
• For subscription management, I use Adapty, which integrates with App Store / Google Play billing systems.

4. Cookies & Tracking

Compresly does not use cookies directly. Some third-party analytics services (e.g., Firebase, Amplitude) may use identifiers or tracking technologies for analytics and performance measurement. These are not used for personalized advertising.

5. Security

I take reasonable measures to protect the limited information processed through Compresly. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

Compresly is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If I learn that a child has provided personal data, I will delete it promptly.

7. International Data Transfers

My third-party providers (Google, Apple, Amplitude, Adapty) may process data on servers located in the United States or other countries. I rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), for international transfers.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location (e.g., EU, UK, California), you may have the right to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information.
